Chandigarh Airport is Wi-Fi Zone

Chandigarh Airport has been converted to wi-fi zone. Now the passengers waiting in the airport lounge can access internet free of cost. This is a boon to most of the business travellers, who have to spend considerable time at the airport before boarding, which they can utilise to stay connected with their offices and clients anywhere. The internet connectivity shall be available to all internet-enabled devices including PDAs, mobile phones, and laptops.
HFCL Infotel Ltd, the CDMA telecom operator in Chandigarh and Punjab has installed the wi-fi at the airport.
Though it would be sometime before the entire city becomes wi-fi enabled, there are various institutions/organisations which have already got wi-fi installed in their premises which includes, UIET building in Panjab University, Punjab Engineering College campus, Hotel Taj, Hotel Mountview, and Hotel Aroma.
